TCD Goldsmith Hall – modern but two minutes off campus

TCD On Campus

We are also pleased to offer and recommend the excellent value accommodation at Trinity College Dublin. There is a range of accommodation available as follows:

  • Goldsmith Hall single room in 4 bedroom apartment: € 55 per night
  • Goldsmith Hall double room in 4 bedroom apartment: € 71 per night
  • On campus: Single ensuite room € 65 per night
  • On campus: Single room in 2 or 3 bedroom apartments € 65 per night
  • On campus: Twin ensuite room € 85 per night

Goldsmith Hall accommodation is located adjacent to campus. All other bedrooms are centrally located on the historic campus. Continental breakfast is included in rates. Rooms are serviced daily.

Note: Single rooms in 2 or 3 bedroom apartments and ensuite twin rooms are the only room types which are wifi enabled.

We particularly recommend the newly renovated two or three bedroom apartments on campus. Located in historic buildings, they are self contained with two or three single bedrooms (bedrooms have individual locks), a large kitchen and livingroom and one bathroom. These apartments are very suitable for individuals or small groups of colleagues.

We have seen the on campus accommodation and were impressed – higher quality than any such accommodation we have stayed in at overseas events.

Most of the TCD campus is beautiful – like Oxford & Cambridge – and we would recommend it as you see we have also negotiated much better rates for B&B.

WE would LESS readily recommend the off campus TCD accommodation at Goldsmith Hall as it isn’t as nice a location and is only slightly cheaper with breakfast at a separate venue from the on campus accommodation. But it is very well priced and only across a road from the TCD Conference Centre we will be using!

The on campus accommodation we have reserved are in nice parts of the campus, often overlooking squares or tennis courts. For these rates please use the promotion code: trinity when using the online reservation page.

ARRIVAL:
‘Check-In’ is at the Accommodation Office which is open from 8am to midnight daily during the conference. Enter the university through the Front Gate, go under the arch, look straight ahead then left –  the accommodation office is diagonally to your left – the last door at the left hand side of the ‘square’.

It may be better to enquire at the Security Office first and they will direct you to the accommodation office. Immediately past the Front Gate on the left under the arch is the security office – the first door on the left – where they have a map of TCD on the wall and will direct you to the Accommodation office.

Anyone arriving AFTER midnight should go to the Front Gate (main entrance to campus) where security staff in the office on the left will give you your keys and show you where to go.

For those staying on campus, continental breakfast is in the Buttery restaurant. A fully cooked Irish breakfast is €3 extra payable on the day. For those staying in Goldsmith Hall just off campus, breakfast is in the Hamilton centre at the rear of the campus.

Maps of the campus are available at http://www.tcd.ie/Maps/

Irrespective of your choice, remember JUNE in Dublin is busy and all these venues are at the heart of the city centre.
The hotels informed us that the weekend after the conference is filling up quickly despite our reservations for the event so we would strongly suggest BOOKING SOON!
